Amelia's started getting into my make-up again, so we've started keeping our our bedroom door closed again and put the knob guard on it, again. I forgot to close it a few days ago and she came downstairs with this shiny black mess all over her lips and said, "Look mommy! I so beautiful!"
I don't have black lip gloss (who does?) and didn't know what it was. She had obviously gotten into my make-up, so I ran upstairs to our bathroom and found my newest tube of mascara open. She had taken the mascara wand, dipped it into a tube of lip gloss (my favorite tube of lipgloss, which has been discontinued), and rubbed it all over her lips. Luckily the lip gloss prevented the mascara from drying on her lips and it was easy to wipe off.
There goes a tube of mascara. I guess it doesn't really matter, I had only used it once and I didn't like it anyway. Not a good look for her (or anyone!)! She has been systematically destroying all my chapstick, lip gloss, and lipstick. She broke my favorite compact mirror and also one of my eyeshadow containers.
I think I need to keep my make-up in a locked safe until she moves away in the next 15 + years.

Our problem is just the baby dropping toys in the toliet right now!
Sometimes (like when all the cute Easter dresses are in stores) I'm sad I don't have girls. Other times - not so much. Great picture, though! (:
