Yesterday was one of those days. I needed a break.
After I picked the girls up from school and took Isabel to get her allergy shots, I dropped them off at home. It's great having a built-in babysitter!
I went to see a movie. I had a free ticket, plus the theater gave me a coupon for a free small popcorn and a coupon for cheap candy.
I sat in the very back row of the theater with my feet up on the seat in front of me, almost alone in the theater, and ate way too many Twizzlers and Milk Duds and way too much popcorn with extra butter. Completely unhealthy, not good for my continuous diet that currently isn't working because I'm not really dieting, I just tell myself that I am. But it was good for my head.
I drove home and it started raining (yeah!). Amelia was happy to see me. Her eyes were red from crying. She missed her mommy. I arrived in time to read her a story and put her to bed which made her very happy. (:

One For The Money. It was okay. It was a comedy which is what I needed.
Glad you were able to run away for a little while. That is really nice sometimes.
